Q: What does eDormire do?

eDormire aims to assist students, parents and schools find the ideal dormitory for less the time. Through a search engine function in our extensive list of dormitories database, we can narrow down the users requirements to the dormitories that they want, in a location that is near to their school. We also help dormitory owners with advertising on the website at no cost at all through our Standard Plan. In the near future, we will be rolling out 2 more new additional plans, Premium and Flexi, to better assist Dormitory Owners and Tenants.

Q: What is Standard Plan?

Standard Plan is the most basic plan in which we help dormitory owners in their dormitory advertising. During this moment of time, the registration is Free of Charge and there is no other additional costs involved. Owners need to just submit to us the forms, and photos of their dormitory and rooms and we will do the rest.

Q: When will the Website and Database be ready?

At the moment, we are looking at September 2017 for the website to be up and ready. Do help us by encouraging your local dormitories to submit their details to us! After all, it's free of charge 😉

Q: What is Instant Messaging (IM) and Appointment Scheduling?

Instant Messaging allows users of the site and owners to talk freely with each other at no cost (mobile internet charges apply). For privacy reasons, handphone numbers of users are not shared to the owners until the Tenancy Agreement has been signed. Users may ask the owners questions regarding to their units and also schedule appointments via the IM interface.

Q: When will the Premium and Flexi Plans be rolled out?

Premium and Flexi Plans will undergo testing first prior to rolling out to public. Selected dormitories will be informed that they have been chosen to undergo testing for a small sum (to ensure dormitories commitment to the testing). You may register your interest to test the new plans. Just email us at info@edormire.com to find out more.

Q: I am unable to mail the pictures. Is there any other way for us to send to you the information?

Yes! You can email to us at info@edormire.com or message us on Facebook at eDormire. We would recommend for you to email or message us so that we can receive your information faster.

Q: Is it free? Really? No catch?

Our primary aim is to build a dormitory database to allow students to find dormitories easier. In the future, we will be rolling out Premium and Flexi plans, which will improve the tenancy process between users, us and owners. These Value-Added-Services (VAS) will be chargeable of course, but the fee will be very minimal and its entirely up to you if you want to remain as Standard user, or would like to upgrade to improve your business.

Q: There are some dormitories in my area which are not listed on your site. Can you include them in too?

Sometimes our hardworking research and marketing team may have missed a few dormitories (we don't blame them, it's really hard work!)
